Rochdale Library is hosting the ‘Poems to Change the World’ exhibition, featuring poetry from Rochdale first Poet Laureate Sammy Weaver, our two young poets in residence Alende and Sasha and local children and young people.
Over the past 6 months, Sammy has hosted 20 school’s workshops across the borough – with poems from each session forming part of the exhibition. You are invited to visit the exhibition in Rochdale Central Library, explore the power of words, and take away prompts to write their own poems and spells.
Created by Rochdale Borough Libraries and Rochdale Development Agency
The exhibition will run from 25th March – 10th April.
Free to attend - no need to book.
