Playbox in the Park

A giant Playbox full of games and activities is coming to Balderstone Park in Rochdale! 

Open from 10am - 4pm every day between Sunday 9th August and Wednesday 12th August. Find us near the play area in the centre of the park. 

Daily activities will include: Lego, hula hoops, table tennis, space hoppers, giant marble run, bubble blowing, swing ball, a sensory area and more! Drop in and stay as long as you like. 

All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. 

Every day a different local organisation will be running free creative activities alongside the Playbox: 

Sunday - Den building with Rochdale Town hall 

Monday - Giant games inspired by artwork and objects in the collection at Touchstones Rochdale

Tuesday - Have a go at learning circus skills with Skylight Circus Arts. Rochdale Libraries will also be there with games and crafts. 

Wednesday - Arts activities led by Cartwheel Arts Playbox is presented by Playful Anywhere in collaboration with Rochdale's Local Cultural Education Partnership.
