Music Mixer Event: Heywood - Hear from Grammy-nominated artist Laura White

Come and get involved at the next Music Mixer event -  this time at Heywood Market on Wednesday March 25th.  

RDA is delighted to welcome Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Laura White, who will talk about her incredible journey from X-Factor to writing for Rita Ora, Alicia Keys, Rag n Bone Man, Kelly Clarkson, Bugzy Malone and Stormzy to name a few.  Laura’s music has been streamed billions of times on Spotify and she has written numerous music scores and films for major and TV projects including Netflix, BBC and HBO - one alongside Missy Elliot. 

Laura first came to national attention on The X Factor, where she became the only contestant in the show’s history to be raised in Parliament after hundreds of thousands of people petitioned over her exit. TV outlets have since named it “the biggest TV exit of all time!  

Most of all she’s a down to earth northerner, hailing from Wigan, who will entertain and delight you with her stories. Tickets are on a first come first served basis here.
