The exhibition will run until 15th of February, 2026.
During the first term, the first-year Level 3 Art & Design and Graphics students have investigated the theme of Identity, exploring the self-image, incorporating personal and cultural imagery, reflecting on what makes them who they are. The exhibition demonstrates the diversity of the learners, all who have embraced new approaches and techniques to convey their personalities.
Identity-based portraits have been created through a range of techniques, including photography, printmaking, textiles, ceramics, digital imaging and graffiti stencilling.
Through this multidisciplinary approach, students have created work with an unconventional perspective, that reflects the essence of what we do at Hopwood. Breaking Barriers are incredibly proud to showcase the rich talent of this year's cohort on the Level 3 Art & Design and Graphics course.
