Create Rochdale Youth Voice Training

What does it mean to embed youth voice in your work? What’s the difference between consultation, co-production and youth led? 

In this free session we’ll answer these questions and provide an introduction to the theory that underpins youth voice. We’ll also explore listening in practice and look at some examples of how different cultural organisations have embedded youth voice in their work. This session is aimed at professionals working within the creative industries and cultural sector from freelance artists and youth group facilitators to organisation leaders. If you are interested in the session but work in a different setting, please get in touch as we might be able to offer you a place. 

The session will be delivered by Diane Higgins (Senior Youth Officer at Rochdale Borough Council) and Helen Thackray (Create Rochdale Programme Manager). The session is funded by Arts Council England Place Partnership Fund, supported by Rochdale Borough Council and Rochdale Development Agency.
