Big Imaginations

The Big Imaginations Artist Imagination Fund is open to all artists and companies developing or creating performance work for young audiences in the Big Imaginations catchment area. Applicants should be based in the North-West and be able to work in a location close to a Big Imaginations organisation (see here list of organisations).

AIF Fund Information:

The Big Imaginations Network is on the lookout for artists to support them to develop their ideas! We're looking for artists who are making/want to make work for children and families and are based in the North-West and South-West Yorkshire (Geographically close to a network member). 
We're especially interested in hearing from anyone who is from an under represented background. 

The Artist Imagination Fund exists to support artists who have an idea that they want to explore. This might be:

• An initial idea you want to play around with
• Something you want to take into an R&D process.
• An idea you plan to apply to Arts Council England for and want match funding.  

As ever, the money in the fund is part of the support package but there are other things packaged into the fund to help support artists. These include, but not limited to:

• £500 - £2,500
• 1 to 3 weeks in kind space hire
• Artist support and insights from Big Imaginations Network member staff
• Potential feedback on any work or performances*
• Hosting any sharings*
• Helping invite audience and programmers*
• Support with networking
• Introduction to the wider BI Network
• Group & individual coaching session with Liz O'Neill (Z-arts CEO)
• A project start and end of project evaluation meeting.
