Rochdale Artist Group Awarded £45K from Arts Council England

Expect to see new creative projects happening in the Borough over the next year after Ebor Studio has been awarded funding from Arts Council England! 

The grant has come at a time of development for the 30-member studio group as they turn their attention outwards, with a plan to work more than ever before in the wider Rochdale Borough. Ebor Studio is an established artist network, studios and gallery in Littleborough who provide professional development, opportunities, facilities, and a peer network for professional artists. 

Over the past three years, Ebor Studio has provided a high quality programme of exhibitions, performances, artist talks, workshops and billboards completely free to the public. Access to photography, sculpture, sound, video, painting, textile art, ceramics, digital arts and more. The £45K project grant from Arts Council England will fund an innovative new arts programme that will be happening in Rochdale from November 2025 to November 2026. 

The grant will cover exhibitions at Gallery FRANK as well as branching out into local and international communities. Funding the work of 16 artists at varying stages in their careers, the project will reflect Ebor Studio’s values to invest in local talent to produce a thriving and long-lasting artistic landscape in Rochdale.
