Mayor’s Youth Awards is back for 2026!

Rochdale Youth Service presents the Mayor Youth Awards for individuals and groups aged 11 – 19 (up to 25 if they have any form of disability), who live within the Rochdale Borough (Rochdale, Pennines, Heywood & Middleton). The Mayor Youth Awards gives us the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the fantastic achievements, contributions, and developments of young people across the Rochdale Borough. We're looking for nominations that recognise young people who've made a real difference to the people in their lives. Examples include (but are not limited to): Volunteering, sporting achievements, supported friends, someone who has gone over and above to help others or anyone who you believe shows character, deserving of a Mayor Youth Award. Anyone can nominate a young person who lives within the Rochdale borough.

Please email your completed nomination form to youth.service@rochdale.gov.uk. Alternatively, you can post your nomination form to Moss Street Youth Centre, Moss Street, Rochdale, OL16 5NL. The closing date for nominations is Friday 30th January 2026. The young people’s judging panel will discuss and choose the winning nominations which will be announced and presented with an award at the Mayor’s Youth Awards Ceremony on Tuesday 24th March 2026.
