Final Countdown: The Folk Album of the Year Awards Arrive in Rochdale Next Week

Next week, the Folk Album of the Year Award winner will be announced in the magnificent surroundings of the newly refurbished Rochdale Town Hall!
The evening will celebrate the nine shortlisted albums and feature live performances from the outstanding nominated artists.
This eagerly anticipated event will be free to livestream at 7pm on Tuesday 17 March via Folk on Foot’s YouTube channel. Tune in then to see Peggy Seeger, Joshua Burnside, Grace Stewart-Skinner Clàrsach, Barry Kerr, Cynefin, Spafford Campbell, Poor Creature, The Gigspanner Big Band & Edith WeUtonga Katiji.
The Folk Album of the Year Award is supported by Rochdale Development Agency and forms a key part of Rochdale’s 2026 Town of Culture celebrations (Rochdale Creates).
