Call for Volunteers! FAB Youth Arts Festival

We are looking for friendly, reliable event volunteers (18+) to help support the smooth running of this exciting event. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who wants to get involved and learn more about cultural events.

If you are an experienced volunteer or if this is your first time, we would love to hear from you!

About FAB Festival

FAB Festival is a new youth arts festival created with young people, for young people, taking place at Rochdale Town Hall on Saturday 28 March 2026. The festival will feature theatre, live music, dance, poetry, circus, exhibitions, e-gaming, murals and a carnival parade, showcasing creativity from children and young people across Rochdale. Event details- you’ll be needed…

· Date: Saturday 28 March 2026

· Location: Rochdale Town Hall, The Esplanade, Rochdale OL16 1AZ

· Volunteer shift: 9.30am – 5.00pm

· Event live: 10.00am – 4.30pm

What you’ll do · Welcome and talk to Rochdale’s Youth Arts Festival is ‘FAB’ | Rochdale Borough Council visitors and help them find their way

· Share event timings and programme information

· Support activities, including the Global Grooves and Nigerian Community carnival parade

· Assist with stewarding and general event support

· Help keep the site clean and tidy

Induction and support

· Online induction: Thursday 26 March, 1.00pm – 2.00pm

· Read Pre-event guides and documents provided so you feel prepared
