Rochdale is home to a rich tapestry of creatives, from writers and poets to performers, visual artists, and cultural organisers. We know there’s no shortage of talent in our borough, and it deserves to be seen, heard, and celebrated. Rochdale Creates is collaborating with Rochdale Libraries to invite poetry submissions from anyone who lives and/or works in Rochdale Borough. 

We would like to spotlight poetry from local creatives on our social media platforms, and are working with our media partners at the Rochdale Observer and Rochdale Libraries to explore future opportunities for showcasing local talent, including potential exhibitions and a published book celebrating creativity in Rochdale during our year as Greater Manchester Town of Culture 2025-26.
