Vicky Price is a British visual artist and contemporary printmaker with thirty years of practice in serigraphy, drawing and textile print. She is the founder of *Story Veils, a collaborative methodology that began in Rochdale in March 2024, working with female survivors of domestic abuse to translate their stories onto screen-printed silk cloaks. From her studio in the Pennines she produces textiles and fine art prints, runs screen-printing workshops for artists, and develops funded exhibition projects. Her work is unapologetically truthseeking, reduced to elemental forces of making with hand, ink, cloth, ground, landscape and body.
*Story Veils, a project that began in Rochdale in 2024. It was developed with an all-female creative team with the founding women through Rochdale Connections Trust and supported by Arts Council England and the British Textile Biennale. The first showing of the cloaks is at Richard Street Studios, Rochdale, from 2–10 May 2026.
Alongside her studio practice, Vicky runs screen-printing workshops for artists and is developing a costumed figure drawing programme launching in June 2026.
Studio Vicky Price has received national recognition and funding from QEST London, the Society of Dyers and Colourists in Bradford, The UK Textile Society, Arts Council England, Greater Manchester Access Arts and Artist Access to Art College.
