Soul Sisters: Empowering People is a Rochdale-based, volunteer-led charity supporting women and families affected by domestic abuse.
They provide trauma-informed emotional support through peer groups, one-to-one sessions, and community activities designed to rebuild confidence, reduce isolation, and improve mental and emotional well-being. Creativity lies at the heart of their approach: through knitting, crochet, textile arts, storytelling, and reflective workshops, participants can express themselves safely, process emotions, and connect with others in a supportive environment.
The creative groups foster healing, resilience, and empowerment, showing how arts and culture can transform lives and strengthen communities across Rochdale.
