Shaun Heffernan is a professor, artist and tutor. 

Shaun has worked and exhibited all around the world, with his last place of reference being India, where he taught and exhibited both his students' work and his own. 

Shaun is an artist who wants to share understanding of the importance of art and how it can help with health and wellbeing. He focuses on having fun with mediums and standing by the belief that everyone can do art and be creative. 

Shaun is interested in art's capacity for wordless expression. His work is varied, ranging from portraits to landscapes, to abstract expressionism and concepts of social and political life. 

At 63, Shaun is looking to give back to his community, hoping to inspire others to better themselves as artists and as people through his experiences in various countries. 

His classes are held at Richard Street Studios in Rochdale, running for around 2 hours. The lessons cost between £25-30 an hour. All materials are provided, just show up and enjoy.
