Would you like to be part of an event that is created by the community for the communities of Rochdale and Greater Manchester?

Join us for the Rochdale Science Extravaganza 2025: Inspiring Climate Action Through STEAM!

On Sunday 29th June 2025, we invite you to participate in this exciting celebration at the Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This annual event is a unique opportunity to engage with our community and inspire a love for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Maths (STEAM).

This year’s theme is: Climate Change, Sustainability, and Recycling!

We’re looking for passionate STEAM Ambassadors, science communicators, academics, researchers, performer’s, and artists to join us. Share your knowledge and creativity through hands-on activities, captivating demonstrations, and engaging shows that highlight how STEAM can address pressing global challenges, including the importance of recycling and sustainable practices.

What We Need:

• Hands-On Activities: Lead interactive sessions where participants can create, experiment, and learn.

• Live Demonstrations: Showcase your research or artistic skills through engaging performances that captivate audiences of all ages.

• Educational Workshops: Facilitate workshops that explore the intersection of science and art, encouraging innovation and creativity.

• Recycling Content: Share insights and activities focused on recycling and sustainability to inspire attendees to make a difference in their own lives.

• Networking Opportunities: Connect with fellow professionals and inspire young minds by sharing your journey and career pathways in STEAM.

Rochdale Science Extravaganza 2025 Dates/Times

Saturday 28th June:

• (optional) you can choose to setup stands from 12 PM at Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre or set up on the day

Sunday 29th June:

• Setting up from 8:30 AM
• Extravaganza event opens from 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Set down stands from 4:30 PM onward

Travel costs can be reimbursed and meals will be provided with the options of halal and vegetarian. They will also be facilities for those who wish to perform their prayers.
